Darren Scott / Director & Co-Producer
Darren initially started out as a composer and has written over a 100 scores for theatre, TV and film, before accidentally becoming a director of a play he’d co-written. That play, Consequences, did so well commercially and creatively, that he was recommended to direct another new play called Hanging in There by Geoff Saunders. The play was received to critical acclaim in 2005 and again in 2006., after which, he went on to direct many other theatre productions including Hysteria, The Shape of Things, Mindgame, Hitchcock Blonde and The Exorcism, as well as short films, adverts, documentaries and corporate videos. In 2014, he reunited with Geoff to work on what would become the big-screen version of Hanging in There.

His latest writing projects are a screenplay with Vanessa Amberleigh and a short play, Suite Dreams.
